APPLICATION OF FILMS
“Up-and-coming New Film Director” has always selected unique young movie directors with our own original point of view. The directors who won “Up-and-coming New Film Director Prize” or “Audience Prize” are currently successful at the forefront.
Kanazawa Film Festival 2022 will be held in Fall in the city of Kanazawa.
How to apply
You can apply from the entry form of “Anticipated new film directors” Kanazawa Film Festival 2022.
Entry fee
10,000 yen (You can submit multiple films, but the fee will be charged for each film)
Application conditions
- Media format: BD, DVD, 16mm, 35mm
- No limitation for the running time
- Movies should not violate copyright of existing music, videos, images, and original works.
Prizes
- Up-and-coming New Film Director Prize (the grand prix)
- Audience Prize
- Up-and-coming New Actor Prize
Selection
- Staff and concerned parties of the festival will review and select the feature films.
- We will inform the selection results to the applicants around the end of May 2022.
About the event
- SThe directors of the films to be screened at the festival will be invited to the event. (Transportation and hotel charges will be paid by the festival. *Upper limit for transportation cost)
- “Up-and-coming New Actor Prize” will be chosen from the actors who attend the festival. (We will not pay the transportation and hotel charges for this)
